Briny Gift Cards

Gift cards can be purchased online as e-vouchers through our website or physical gift vouchers in store.

  1. Gift vouchers are valid for one year from the date of purchase and cannot be extended.
  2. Gift vouchers are not transferable and cannot be used as a cheque guarantee, credit/debit card or exchanged for cash.
  3. Gift vouchers are only redeemable at The Briny and not other Coastal Kitchen Family venues.
  4. Gift vouchers can be used multiple times until the balance is redeemed in full.

If purchasing ‘The Briny Festive Gift Voucher’ the following terms and conditions apply

  1. ‘The Briny Festive Gift Voucher’ is valid for use between 1st January 2026 – 31st March 2026 and cannot be extended.
  2. Gift vouchers are not transferable and cannot be used as a cheque guarantee, credit/debit card or exchanged for cash.
  3. Gift vouchers are only redeemable at The Briny and not other Coastal Kitchen Family venues.
  4. Gift vouchers can be used multiple times until the balance is redeemed in full.

Bookings

To secure your reservation, card details are required via ResDiary. Your card will only be charged in line with our cancellation policy:

    • Cancel or amend at least 24 hours before your booking. Late cancellations or no-shows incur a £10 per person charge.
    • Tables of 8 or more must pre-order meals at least 48 hours in advance. The cancellation policy applies per guest; those who cancel without 24-hour notice will be charged £10 per absent guest.
    • We allow a 20 minute grace period. Late notice or no-shows will result in your booking being released.

  • As an independent restaurant, we rely on honoured reservations. Repeated no-shows impact operations, so cancellation charges are necessary.
  • Card details are securely held, and any charges are processed by Stripe Payments UK, Ltd on behalf of The Briny (see stripe.com/gb/privacy).
  • Please inform us of any allergies or dietary requirements upon booking.
  • Terrace bookings are weather-dependent, and indoor seating cannot be guaranteed in the event of poor weather. Our terrace seating area is dog-friendly. We do not accept dogs inside the restaurant.
  • We operate a live reservation system; if a specific time or dining area is not viewable online, it indicates we are fully booked at that time / in that dining area.

Deposit Policy

Deposits Required for Large Bookings:

  • For bookings of 8 or more guests, we kindly request a £10pp deposit to be paid at the time of booking. A minimum of 24 hours’ notice of cancellation is required for the deposit to be refunded.
  • If the reservation is cancelled within 24 hours of the booking, the deposit will not be refunded.

Pre-Paid Events:

  • For pre-paid events we kindly request payment in full at the time of booking. A minimum of 24 hours’ notice of cancellation is required for the event for the deposit to be refunded.
  • If the reservation is cancelled within 24 hours of the booking, the deposit will not be refunded.​
